Sweet, Sweet Justification...

I hate my Analyzing English Grammar class. I mean HATE it. The teacher is awful, the material is dreadfully boring, and class time is nothing short of an utter waste of three hours in my week. Thankfully, BYU gives students a chance to vent about terrible classes and instructors such as this one. At the end of every semester, we are asked to fill out course evaluations. Most professors aren't effected by the way their evaluations turn out, but this horrible class is a different story. This is only my professor's second semester teaching at BYU and is only an assistant professor. This means her evaluations are sent through an overview by her superiors. So I felt SOOOO good once I filled out my evaluation. For any given question, the best score I gave her was a 3/6 and there were several 0/6's in there. And I have NEVER evaluated someone that low before. And then the "Optional Comments" section, I totally let loose:

"Course grading was completely unfair, time spent in class was useless as the instruction simply reiterated the required readings from the book, testing procedures and debatable questions of test material were never addressed, and students other than D*, G*, and S* were hardly called on or even given a chance to participate in class. Also, Dr. W*'s dress standards (i.e. skirt length) were seemingly inappropriate at times."

Aw snap!!!!!

I had a terrible teacher for my Children's lit class. How can you destroy children's lit? She did. Sadly that teacher had been at BYU forever and wasn't effected by evals. Hopefully she is retired now...

Haha we do those too. They can be fun.

Also, I like your new baby count down ticker thing!

Thanks, Mel. I thought the floating baby one was just too creepy.
