Ok, ok, I know it's only 2 days past the due date, but I'm getting restless. This baby is really starting to push my buttons. But I suppose that's how it's going to be for the next 20+ years, right? Well, we had a doctor's appointment yesterday. Good news and bad news. The good news? The baby is perfectly happy, healthy, and normal. Fluid levels are perfect and the ultrasound even showed the baby smiling and playing with his/her fingers. (Speaking of which, there are exactly 10 of those and 10 cute little toes.) Then the bad news. Well, it's not bad for most people, just for me...still being pregnant and all. Dr. Smith said she'd induce me next week. The only thing is that she's not on call until THURSDAY. THE FREAKING 21ST. Needless to say, I'm not happy about the prospect of being this big that much longer. Hopefully, it won't come down to that, but whatever. They say it will eventually happen.
Well, that's all the news from the homefront. Keep checking for updates! And when the baby comes (IF the baby comes!) we'll be sure to post pictures right away!

Poor girl. I hate to say it...but if they hafta induce you the 21st at least I'll be here...instead of the 18th when I will be gone. How bout baby just comes tonight??!! Come on baby...come out to play!!
