So so so much to catch up on. First, WE GRADUATED!!!!! Second, my mom, my grandma, and my mother-in-law all made it out for graduation. It was a ton of fun having them here...it was my mom and my grandma's first time out to Utah. I think they had fun.
While they were here, I made sure to take them to all of the must-see places (well, as much as I could do in 4 days). We did a campus tour, hit the bookstore, L&T in the Cougareat, Cafe Rio, Tucanos, the Museum of Art, Ikea, Temple Square (and the Family History Center), SubZero, and had planned on going to Arches National Park down in Moab, but didn't make it. We were too worn out!
And then, if you can remember back to a post in December, I got tickets to go see "Wicked" in Salt Lake. So I left my mom and grandma home with Zac and Logan and went to see it with my very best friend in the whole world. Dani and James flew up from San Antonio for a few days just so she could go see "Wicked" with me!!!! Well, and to see her family, but whatever. So the show was AMAZING. We had seats near the back on the aisle, and we were even fist in the restrooms at intermission. But that's what you get when you put two pregnant girls together :-) She took all the pictures on her camera, so I'll have to post those when I steal them off of Facebook. (Hint: Dani, upload those pictures!!!)
So after a whirlwind week of family, friends, and graduation, everyone left on Tuesday the 28th. And my life came to a sudden screeching halt. I'm no longer taking classes, doing homework, taking tests, or writing papers. I don't have a calling in church (NOT complaining, by the way). I don't have a demanding child (again, NOT complaining). And I only have the one, for now. So I'm feeling a little lost. I joined a book club, a walking group, and a writing group, all in hopes of vamping up the social void graduating has left me with, but I still feel a little out of it knowing I'm a college graduate with no professional prospects.
(Well, there was that submission I made to an agency for my novel, but I'm almost praying for a rejection letter. I told them it was a complete 90,000 word novel. It's not. It's only about half done at 40,000 words. But I had to do it for my class.)
So I guess that sums up what's been happening the last month. Currently, we're waiting to hear back from a few studios for an internship for Zac. He didn't get one with Pixar (But that wasn't a huge surprise. They only accepted one intern from BYU), but we're still waiting on BlueSky Studios in New York and Avalanche here in Salt Lake. And if he doesn't get either of those, he will just complete his internship credits at BYU (which he is currently doing to build his portfolio anyways). So other than waiting for an internship...or even a JOB!...we're just waiting on the baby. Who currently prefers to lie sideways in my uterus rather than up-side-down like normal children. Just hope she changes her mind in the next 4-6 weeks!
A smattering of pictures to come...

Congrats! It sounds like things are calming down for you.. for a little bit at least! I love the pictures you posted. Also, have I told you I think you have the cutest little boy ever?
So cute and fun :) I want those pictures!
Enjoy the lull before the storm! I hope you get lots of naps and writing done. :) You do make cute kids.
Have you checked out Laika in Portland? What was Zac's major?
Zac is a Visual Arts Animation major. And he's applying for an internship in San Diego with Sony this week, I think. Can Matt pull any strings??? :-D
